What is Ultra Trail Pro?
A fantasy ultra-trail game built on real races. You don't run a step — you race with your head: pick your level and strategy, and your run plays out against the real field from the actual event.
How do I play?
Pick a race, set your level (or your UTMB Index), and choose your strategy — how hard you push (pace) and how long you rest at aid stations. You get a personal link: that's your race.
Do I actually have to run?
No. No lottery, no flights, no blisters — just the same start line, on your screen.
Live or replay — what's the difference?
An upcoming race runs live alongside the real event on its date: open your link and watch your shadow race unfold in real time. A past event you can replay, accelerated, anytime.
Who am I racing against?
A field based on the real race's own data, plus the other players who've joined. As the splits come in, you follow the whole field on the leaderboard.
Do I have to watch the whole race?
No — your run plays out whether you're watching or not. Drop in anytime to see where you sit, or just come back afterwards; your result will be waiting.
What decides my result?
Your ability (level or UTMB Index) and your strategy, plus the luck of the day. Faster runners place higher overall — but everyone races their own expected time too, so anyone can win by beating their day. And yes — you can DNF: the cut-offs are real, and so is going out too hard.
Is it free? What do I need?
It's a free beta. Just an email to save your run and your permanent link. Come back on race day to watch it live, or afterwards to see your result and replay how it went.
Is this official?
No — Ultra Trail Pro is an independent fan project. We use real race names and public results to point at real events; nothing here is official, and no affiliation with the events or their organisers is implied.
